Do beds come with a mattress?

Bed buying questions

What size bed should I buy?
A double (4ft 6in, 135 x 190cm) suits one adult or a couple in a smaller room; a king (5ft) gives a couple more space; a super king (6ft) needs a room of roughly 3.5 x 3.5m. Allow about 60cm of walking space around the bed.

What is the difference between an ottoman bed and a divan?
An ottoman bed’s whole base lifts on gas struts for large storage. A divan is a fabric-covered base, sometimes with drawers, usually sold with a headboard as an option.

Are your beds made in the UK?
Some are: Sweet Dreams and Jay-Be beds are made in Britain. Other ranges are imported. Each product page shows the brand.

How long does delivery take?
Lead times are on each product page. Made-to-order and upholstered beds take longer than stocked items.

Is delivery free?
Yes, to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. See delivery information for the areas we cannot reach.
