Description
A mid sleeper lifts the bed off the floor so the space underneath can work for a living. The Kudl Storage Mid Sleeper in white puts a two-door cupboard, an open shelf and a full desk under one 3ft single bed, so a child’s room can have somewhere to sleep, study and store things without a separate desk or chest of drawers.
The desk sits on castors. Pull it out and it becomes a proper work surface for homework, drawing or a laptop, with its own built-in shelving at the end for books and stationery. Push it back under the bed when it is not needed and the floor is clear again. Under the sleeping deck, the cupboard with an internal shelf takes clothes, games or bedding, and the open section above it is ideal for a speaker, a lamp or favourite books.
The bright white finish keeps the room feeling light, which matters with a raised bed, and suits both younger children and teenagers. A fixed ladder with wide steps leads up to the sleeping deck, which is enclosed by a guard panel on every side with cut-out handholds.

Size and fit
The mid sleeper measures 195 cm long, 115.8 cm wide (the extra width comes from the ladder) and 120 cm high. Leave enough floor in front of the bed to pull the desk out fully. For headroom, measure from the top of the mattress to the ceiling: most UK bedrooms leave a comfortable gap with a standard-depth mattress. It arrives flat packed, so narrow stairs are not an issue.
Safety and mattress choice
Kudl recommends this bed from 6 years up to teens. For raised beds, choose a mattress that keeps the top of the mattress well below the top of the guard panel; a children’s single mattress of around 15 to 20 cm deep is the usual choice. Assembly and care
The bed is made from MDF and wood and comes flat packed with clear instructions. It is a larger build, so allow plenty of time and two adults. Check and re-tighten the fittings after the first few weeks and then every few months. Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners.

Delivery
Delivery is free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We are unable to deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. The bed arrives flat packed in boxes, and we will contact you to confirm your delivery window before it leaves the warehouse. If it is planned as a Christmas present, ordering early leaves time to build it before the big day.
