The Kidsaw Deluxe Sprung Children’s Single Mattress combines the traditional bounce and support of a sprung mattress with a soft, breathable top. At its core is a Bonnell open coil spring unit that gives firm, even support across the whole bed. On top of the springs sits a 2.5 cm layer of air foam that adds comfort and lets air move through the mattress, helping it stay fresh night after night.
The mattress is wrapped in a 200 GSM quilted cover finished with an anti dust mite material, and the whole mattress is hypoallergenic, so it is a good choice for children with allergies, eczema or asthma. Quilting gives the surface a softer feel than a plain foam cover, while the tape-edged border keeps the shape neat.
At 15 cm deep it suits standard single beds and is shallow enough for cabin beds, mid sleepers and bunk beds. It is made in the UK, meets UK fire safety regulations for furniture and is made without antimony, phosphorus or arsenic-based fire retardant chemicals.

Which beds does it fit?
It measures 90 x 190 cm, the standard UK single (3ft) size, and fits any UK single bed frame, including the Kudl cabin beds and mid sleepers and the Kidsaw wooden single beds in our range. For high sleepers and bunk beds, check the bed maker’s maximum mattress depth so the guard rail stays at least 16 cm above the mattress surface.
Unpacking and care
The mattress is delivered vacuum packed. Unwrap it on the bed frame, cutting the outer packaging carefully, and allow 24 to 48 hours for it to recover its full shape before use. It is a one-sided mattress, so rotate it head to toe rather than flipping it: every few weeks at first, then every couple of months. Spot clean the cover with a damp cloth and mild detergent, and use a mattress protector to keep it fresh.

Delivery
Delivery is free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We are unable to deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. The mattress arrives vacuum packed, so it is easy to carry upstairs and through narrow doorways. We will contact you to confirm your delivery window before it is dispatched.
