The Jay-Be Ryze Deep Quilted Sprung Mattress is the entry model in Jay-Be’s 2026 Ryze collection, and the one most people will be choosing for a spare room, a first flat, a growing teenager or a rental. It pairs a deep spring core with a thick, deep-quilted top filled with layers of e-Fibre™, so you get a cushioned, hotel-style first feel without paying for pocket springs. Jay-Be rates it medium-firm.
Like every Ryze mattress it is 100% foam-free. Instead of foam, the comfort comes from fibre fillings that let air move through the mattress, which helps it stay fresher and sleep cooler than a typical foam-topped budget mattress. Unpacking and care
Take the roll to the room it will be used in before opening it, because it is much easier to carry rolled. Place it on the bed base, cut the outer wrapping carefully with the blade pointing away from the cover, and let it unroll. It starts to take shape straight away; allow 24 to 48 hours in a ventilated room for it to reach full depth. Rotate it head to toe every few weeks for the first three months, then every three months, so the quilted fillings settle evenly. Use a breathable mattress protector to keep the cover clean without trapping heat.
Delivery
Free delivery to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey, by courier to your door. The rolled pack is compact, so it is easy to get through narrow hallways and up tight stairs. We do not deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly.

Is it a good mattress for a guest room?
Yes. It gives guests a comfortable, hotel-style quilted feel, it is breathable and odourless, and the price leaves room in the budget for the rest of the room. It arrives rolled, so it is easy to carry upstairs.
Will it fit my bed frame?
It comes in standard UK Single, Small Double, Double and King sizes, so it fits any bed frame, divan or ottoman of the same size. At around 19–21 cm deep it is not suitable for the top bunk of a bunk bed.
