Bentley Parquet Lamp Table
The Bentley Parquet Lamp Table pairs a herringbone wooden top with four slim, tapered black legs. It is a deliberately light piece of furniture: the top does the talking, the legs stay out of the way, and the space underneath keeps a small room feeling open rather than filled.
Herringbone is one of those patterns that reads as expensive because it used to be. Laying short lengths of timber at opposing angles takes more work than a plain board, and the result catches light differently across the surface as you move around it. On a 40cm square top the pattern is at exactly the right scale — large enough to be read as parquet, small enough not to look busy.
Where it works
At 50cm tall it sits level with most sofa arms and slightly above the seat of an armchair, which is the right height for a lamp, a drink and a phone. The square top suits a corner position better than a round one, and the open leg frame means it can be tucked into a tight gap without looking wedged in.
It is one of three Bentley Parquet pieces — the console at 120cm and the coffee table at 120 x 60cm share the same herringbone top and black leg detail, so the three can be bought together without anything looking matched-by-accident.

Is the herringbone real wood or a printed finish? Real wood, laid in a herringbone pattern rather than printed onto board.
How stable is it on carpet? The legs are set close to the corners, which is what keeps a small table steady. On deep pile carpet any four-legged table can rock slightly until it beds in.
Will it match the Bentley console and coffee table exactly? They share the same top construction and leg finish. Because the wood is natural, tone varies a little between pieces.
Does it come assembled? The legs attach to the top. It is a few minutes with the fixings supplied.
Can I stand a heavy lamp on it? Yes. It is designed for normal side-table loads — a lamp, books, drinks. Avoid using it as a step.
