Briar 2 Seater Sofa
The Briar chair widened to two seats: sloped arms, a sprung seat and deeply padded back cushions. At 121 centimetres it is genuinely compact — a standard two seater is nearer 160 — which puts it in flats, box rooms, snugs and bay windows where a normal sofa simply will not go.
That width is the reason to buy it, and also the thing to be honest about: 121cm seats two adults, but it seats them close. If you want two people to sit without touching, this is not the sofa. If you want a proper sofa in a room that has been telling you for years it can only take a chair, it is exactly the sofa.

Measure before you order
Check your narrowest doorway, measured diagonally as well as straight across — at 121cm wide and 75cm deep this will go through most, but a turn on a staircase is the usual problem rather than the door itself.
Leave 60cm of walking space in front. In the small rooms this sofa is designed for, that is the measurement that gets forgotten.
Chenille, and how to keep it
Chenille is a pile fabric — short tufts in a woven base — soft to the touch and good at disguising light marks. The pile flattens where it is used most. Vacuum weekly with a soft upholstery head, brush the pile back one way if it looks patchy, and blot spills rather than rubbing.
