Description
The Lisbon Ottoman is an upholstered slatted bed frame with a front-opening ottoman underneath and a self-buttoned headboard. It suits anyone short of bedroom storage who still wants a bed that looks tailored rather than functional: the storage is hidden in plain sight, and the frame stands on solid wooden feet. It is made in the UK by Sweet Dreams, a National Bed Federation approved manufacturer.
Storage that opens from the foot
The ottoman lifts from the foot end of the bed, giving you the full space under the mattress for duvets, spare pillows, suitcases and out-of-season clothes. Because it opens from the front rather than the side, it works well in rooms where the bed sits between two bedside tables or with one side against a wall. Leave clear floor at the foot of the bed so you can stand in front of it and lift.

Measure your room with these outside dimensions, not the mattress size: the frame adds about 15cm to the width and 26cm to the length. Then add the clear space you need at the foot to open the ottoman.

UK king vs EU king
The Lisbon king takes a UK king mattress, 150 x 200cm. What European brands call a king is 160 x 200cm and will not fit. If you are replacing an IKEA or other European bed, buy a UK king mattress with this frame, or check the mattress you already have before ordering.

What size is the bed overall?
The double is 150cm wide and 216cm long; the king is 165cm wide and 226cm long. The headboard is 108cm high.
Is a mattress included?
No. Use a UK double (135 x 190cm) or UK king (150 x 200cm) mattress.
Does it come in super king?
The Lisbon Ottoman is made in double and king. If you need a super king, the Lisbon Standard is made in that size without storage.
Can I choose the fabric?
Yes. Choose from twelve shades across the Opulence and Shergar ranges. The bed is upholstered for your order, so take your time over the colour; a fabric colour chart is shown in the product images.
