Description
The Lenox is a mid-century velvet sofa for people who want clean lines without giving up a deep, sink-in seat. It has squared arms, a low, level back, a stepped base band and slim black legs, and it is upholstered in Steel Velvet, a soft grey with a gentle sheen that shifts as the light moves across the room. Choose the 3 Seater, the 2 Seater, or both together for a matching living-room set.
Why the Lenox works in a real living room
Mid-century furniture earned its reputation by being honest about its shape: straight edges, a visible base and nothing fussy. The Lenox follows that rule. Slim black legs lift the sofa off the floor, so you see more floor and a smaller lounge feels larger. The squared arms are wide enough to rest a mug or a book on, and the back suits upright sitting as well as lounging, so it works for evenings in front of the TV and Sunday mornings with the papers.
Steel Velvet is a versatile neutral. It sits comfortably with white or warm-grey walls, oak and walnut floors and brass or black metal lamps, and it gives you a calm base for brighter cushions and throws that you can change with the seasons. The velvet pile reads slightly lighter or darker depending on the light, which hides everyday marks better than a flat fabric.

Measuring up
Before you order, measure the space where the sofa will stand and the route it will take to get there: front door, hallway, any tight turns and the living-room doorway. The 3 Seater, at 222cm wide, needs a clear wall of roughly 2.4m to leave breathing space either side; the 2 Seater, at 178cm, fits a wall of about 2m. At 96cm deep, allow around 45 to 50cm in front for a coffee table and legroom. If you are pairing the 3 Seater and 2 Seater in an L-shape, mark both footprints on the floor with masking tape first; it is the quickest way to check walkways stay clear.
Delivery

We are unable to deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. We confirm your delivery date with you after you order. Please make sure the access route has been measured, as sofas are large items.
Frequently asked questions
How big is the Lenox 2 Seater?
178cm wide, 96cm deep and 70cm high, with a 126cm-wide seat. The 3 Seater is 222cm wide with a 170cm-wide seat.
Is the Lenox sold as a set?
The 3 Seater and 2 Seater are each available on their own from this page. Add both to your basket for a matching pair.
What colour is Steel Velvet?
A mid grey with a soft sheen. Because velvet reflects light, it looks a shade lighter in bright daylight and richer in the evening. Steel is the colour currently available in this listing.
How do I look after velvet?
Vacuum gently with a soft brush attachment, brush the pile in one direction to keep the finish even, and blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing. Keep the sofa out of strong direct sunlight to protect the colour.
