Description
The Kudl Low Cabin Bed in pink and oak combines a warm oak-effect finish with soft pink, giving a child’s room a touch of colour that still feels natural and grown-up. Under the mattress there are two open niches and a central two-door cupboard, so toys, books and spare bedding stay tidy without a separate chest.
The two-tone design is the reason parents pick this version. All-pink can feel young after a few years, while plain oak can feel plain to a five-year-old. Pink and oak sits in between: playful now, and easy to restyle with new bedding as tastes change.
Storage that little hands can use
- Two open niches at floor level for toy boxes, baskets or books, so children can put things away themselves.
- A central cupboard with two doors to keep the less photogenic clutter hidden.
- All the storage sits within the bed’s own footprint, leaving more floor for play.
A low, confident first big bed
At 51 cm high the frame is easy to climb in and out of, which helps children who are nervous about leaving their cot bed. It is also comfortable for parents to sit on at story time.
Styling ideas
Pair the bed with white walls and blush bedding for a soft, Scandinavian-style room, or with sage green and natural textures for a calmer look. Oak-effect shelves and a white desk complete the room without clashing.
A Christmas gift with staying power
A two-tone cabin bed is a present that will still suit the room in five years’ time, and the built-in storage makes space for whatever Father Christmas brings. Order early to allow time for delivery and assembly.

Assembly and care
The bed comes flat packed with labelled panels, all fittings and an illustrated instruction booklet. Two adults will find assembly quicker and safer, and it is worth building the frame in the bedroom it will live in, because the finished bed is long and awkward to carry up a staircase. Re-check the bolts every few months, as you would with any child’s furniture. The painted and oak-effect surfaces only need a wipe with a soft cloth wrung out in warm water, then a dry cloth; skip bleach, polish sprays and scouring pads, which can mark the finish. Keep the bed clear of radiators and direct heat, and use a breathable mattress with a washable protector so the sleeping surface stays fresh.
Delivery
Delivery is free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We are unable to deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. The bed is delivered flat packed in several cartons, and we will contact you to confirm a delivery window before it is dispatched. If the bed is a Christmas present, ordering in November leaves plenty of time to unbox it and build it before the school holidays begin.
Frequently asked questions
Is a mattress included?
No. It takes a standard UK single mattress, 90 x 190 cm.
Which parts are pink and which are oak?
The outer frame and side panels are pink. The central cupboard doors, the base of the niches and the mattress platform are in an oak-effect finish.
Is it the same size as the other Kudl low cabin beds?
Yes. It measures 96 cm wide, 196 cm long and 51 cm high, the same as the white, grey, black, oak and pink versions.
Will it suit an older child?
Yes. The oak-effect finish keeps it from looking babyish, and a change of bedding updates the room as your child grows.
Does it arrive assembled?
No. It is delivered flat packed with fittings and instructions.
