The Jay-Be Visitor Contract Single Folding Bed is built for places where a spare bed gets used often and has to meet the fire rules for paying guests: guest houses, small hotels, holiday lets and Airbnbs. It comes with a 10 cm Performance e-Fibre™ mattress in a high-performance fabric that meets BS 7177 Contract fire requirements, so it can go straight into a let room, and it is just as useful at home when family come to stay.
It opens and closes in seconds. Lift the bed down and the fully automatic legs fold out on their own; fold it back up and it stands upright on its castors, 80 cm wide and 30 cm deep, small enough to wheel into a cupboard or behind a door. Underneath the mattress, Jay-Be’s J-Tex™ sprung base gives the give and support of a proper bed rather than the sag of a canvas camp bed.

At home it is a sturdy, low-fuss guest bed for adults and older children, with a recommended maximum user weight of 160 kg. If you want a softer, deeper mattress for long stays, a pocket sprung model will be more comfortable; if you need a contract bed for care settings, the Crown Windermere has a waterproof, wipe-clean mattress.

Delivery and setting up
Free delivery to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey, by courier to your door. We do not deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. The bed arrives folded with the mattress in place; you fit the castors and headboard yourself, which takes a few minutes with the instructions linked below.
