It opens in seconds into a single sleeping surface 70 cm wide and 190 cm long, then folds flat to just 11 cm deep so it slides under a bed, stands in a cupboard or travels in the boot of a car until the next visit.

The ME70 is the entry point of Jay-Be’s folding bed range and replaces the Lite LE59, which Jay-Be has now run out. It keeps the low price but gives the sleeper a wider 70 cm frame.

Comfort Stripe e-Fibre™ mattress, already fitted

The bed arrives with its striped mattress in place, so there is nothing extra to buy. The core is Jay-Be’s breathable e-Fibre™ filling, which lets warmth and moisture escape instead of trapping it the way a cheap foam pad does, inside a soft-touch woven cover. The fabric is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified, meaning it has been tested for harmful substances, the materials are hypoallergenic and the fire-retardant treatment is natural and salt-based. The mattress is foam free.

Built to take an adult

This is not a children-only camp bed. The frame is zinc-coated steel for strength and rust protection, and the bed is rated for a sleeper of up to 160 kg. A durable Mono-Tex™ woven platform sits under the mattress, and J-Grip™ anti-tip legs keep the bed steady when someone sits on the edge, so it does not rock or skate on laminate or tiles. The bed exceeds the British and European safety standard for folding beds, BS EN 1725.

Folded, the ME70 measures roughly 70 × 95 cm and 11 cm deep. That is slim enough to go under most beds and sofas, behind a door, in the bottom of a wardrobe or flat in a car boot for camping and family visits. Free delivery to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. The ME70 is a stock item, normally dispatched within 24–48 hours and delivered by courier to your door.
