This bed puts the deep dark wood around them at bedtime, with the Gruffalo, Mouse and the woodland setting printed in bright, durable colour. The frame uses a slot-together design: the panels locate into each other and a small number of screws fix the base in place. There are no complicated fittings, and most parents will have it built well before the bedtime story starts.
