A toddler mattress for children prone to allergies
The Jay-Be Anti-Allergy Foam-Free Sprung Toddler Mattress is the standard UK toddler bed size, 70 × 140 cm, and 10 cm deep. It is made for the move from cot to first bed, for children aged two and over, and in particular for toddlers who wake congested or have eczema or asthma made worse by dust mites.
The difference from Jay-Be’s standard toddler mattress is the cover. It is treated with Purotex®, a probiotic treatment that absorbs moisture and reduces the dust-mite allergens that build up in every mattress over time. Underneath is the same proven construction: a medium-firm spring unit for even support, a high-density insulator so the springs cannot be felt, and breathable rebound e-Fibre™ comfort layers. There is no foam in it.

Unpacking and care
Open the pack in the child’s room, cut the wrap carefully and let the mattress unroll on the bed base. Allow 24 to 48 hours for it to recover fully before your child sleeps on it. Turn it head to toe regularly. A waterproof, breathable protector is worth having for night-time accidents during potty training and does not stop the anti-allergy cover working.
Delivery
Free delivery to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey, by courier to your door. The mattress arrives vacuum-packed and rolled, so it is light enough to carry upstairs and fits through any doorway. We do not deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly.

Will it fit my toddler bed?
It fits any toddler bed made for a 70 × 140 cm mattress, which is the UK standard and also the size of most cot beds once converted. Measure inside the frame to be sure.
Can I use it in a cot?
No. Jay-Be states it is for children aged two and over and not for use in cots.

Is it firm enough for a young child?
Yes. It is medium-firm, which gives toddlers the even support they need without sinking.
