Scott ottoman: a deep chenille footstool and extra seat
The Scott ottoman is a large, low upholstered footstool that does three jobs. Put your feet up on it in front of a sofa or chair, use it as an extra seat when guests arrive, or add a tray and use it as a soft coffee table. It is 95cm wide and 72cm deep, big enough for two people to rest their feet, and it sits on tapered wooden legs in a walnut finish.
It is made by Kyoto, the British furniture supplier voted Best Sofa Bed Supplier in the Furniture News Readers’ Choice awards 2026, as part of its Scott modular range. It is designed to match the Scott click clack chair exactly in width, so the two line up neatly when placed together.
Design and comfort
The top is a thick, padded cushion with neatly piped edges, firm enough to sit on and soft enough to rest your feet on for an evening. At 47cm high it is the same height as a typical sofa seat, so it works as a footrest without feeling too high, and as a perch without feeling too low. The upholstered base keeps the look clean from every side, so it can stand in the middle of a room rather than against a wall.
Use it with the Scott chair
The Scott click clack chair is armless and 95cm wide, the same width as the ottoman. Placed in front of the chair, the ottoman becomes a footstool for reading or watching television. Several Scott chairs and an ottoman together form a flexible modular sofa that you can rearrange whenever you like.

- Eryx Olive Chenille: a soft, muted green with a fine woven texture that pairs well with natural wood, cream and white.
- Eryx Natural Chenille: a light, warm neutral that suits Scandi, minimal and coastal schemes.
Eryx Navy is no longer made by Kyoto in the ottoman, so that colour is shown as out of stock.
