Inca Lounge Chair – Black Frame

Description

Inca lounge chair with black frame: Scandi lines, ribbed comfort

The black-frame Inca lounge chair is a newer take on Kyoto’s best-selling Inca collection. A black wooden frame with sweeping open arms and splayed legs holds a deep, channel-ribbed seat and back upholstered in Daphne Natural Cord. The crisp contrast of black wood and light, flecked fabric gives the chair a modern Scandinavian look that suits monochrome schemes, industrial-style rooms and warm neutral interiors alike.

At 67cm wide it is compact enough for a bedroom corner, home office or reading nook, yet its 60cm-wide seat feels like a proper armchair.

Comfort and design

The seat is 60cm wide and 60cm deep with a seat height of 46cm, so you can sit back and relax without perching. Horizontal channels run across the back and down the seat, giving gentle shape and support while adding visual texture. The open armrests sit at 57cm, a natural height for resting your arms with a book or a cup of tea, and the angled back reclines just enough for comfortable lounging.

Daphne Natural Cord upholstery

Daphne Natural Cord is a light oatmeal fabric flecked with darker threads, so it reads as a soft neutral from across the room and shows lovely texture up close. It works with black, grey and white schemes as well as warmer wood tones, and the flecked weave is forgiving of everyday use.

Styling ideas

• Pair it with a black metal side table and a floor lamp to create a reading corner.
• Use two either side of a coffee table for a smart conversation area.
• Place it in a bedroom with a textured throw for a relaxed, hotel-style feel.
• Mix it with the walnut or washed-frame Inca chairs for a deliberately eclectic set.
