Cloud Corner Sofa Bed

Description

Cloud corner sofa bed: soft boucle comfort that turns into a 155cm bed

The Cloud corner sofa bed puts deep, rounded seating into the corner of a room, the space most sofas leave empty. By day it is a relaxed two-seater with a chaise for stretching out. When guests stay, the seat pulls forward and the back clicks down to make a sleeping area of 155.5cm x 191.5cm, wider than a standard UK small double.

It is finished all over in a soft natural boucle with a nubbly, looped texture that feels warm and looks expensive, and the soft rounded arms and cushions give it the gentle, cloud-like outline it is named after. Kyoto, who make it, were voted Best Sofa Bed Supplier in the Furniture News Readers’ Choice awards 2026.

Design and comfort

The Cloud keeps the shape simple: thick rounded arms, two plump back cushions and a broad seat that continues into the chaise. The low, chunky profile suits Scandi, Japandi and modern rooms, and the light natural boucle brightens a smaller space. At 221cm wide and 150.5cm deep across the chaise it fits the long wall of most living rooms, snugs and home offices.

How the bed works

The Cloud uses a pull-out seat with a click clack back. Pull the seat section forward to bring out the bed platform, then lower the back until it clicks flat so the whole surface is level. Add a fitted sheet, duvet and pillows and the bed is ready in a minute or two. To put it away, lift the back until it clicks upright and slide the seat back in. Leave clear floor in front of the sofa so the platform can come all the way out.

Specification

Before you order

Measure the route into the room before you order, not after it arrives: the front door, the narrowest hallway turn and the stairs if it is going up. Measure doorways diagonally as well as straight across, because a diagonal turn often gains the space you need. The Cloud comes in two boxes, which makes the carry easier than a single large piece. Decide where the chaise will sit too: in most of Kyoto’s photographs it is on the right as you face the sofa.

Delivery

Delivery is free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We do not deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. We arrange the delivery date with you once your order is placed.

Cloud corner sofa bed FAQs

How big is the bed?

The sleeping area is 155.5cm wide and 191.5cm long. That is wider than a UK small double (120cm) and close to a UK king width, so it suits two adults.

How much space does the Cloud need?

As a sofa it is 221cm wide, 150.5cm deep across the chaise and 92cm high. Allow extra clear floor in front for the bed platform when it is pulled out.

Which side is the chaise on?

In most of Kyoto’s photographs the chaise is on the right-hand side as you face the sofa. If you need it on the other side, contact us before ordering and we will check with Kyoto.

Is boucle practical for everyday use?

Boucle is soft and hard-wearing, but its looped texture can catch on pet claws and the light natural colour shows spills sooner than a dark fabric. Blot spills straight away and vacuum the surface regularly with a soft brush.

Do you deliver to my area?

We deliver free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We do not deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly.
