The Milton corner sofa bed is a three-seat corner sofa with a long chaise that turns into a guest bed in seconds. It is upholstered all over in a soft, textured grey chenille with a gently mottled finish, so it reads as warm and lived-in rather than flat and cold. Three button-tufted back cushions give the back a tailored look and proper support, the deep seat cushions sit comfortably for an evening on the sofa, and the chaise is long enough to stretch your legs out properly.

When guests arrive, a fabric pull strap at the front of the seat lets you draw the bed platform forward until it sits level with the chaise. Together they form one wide, flat sleeping area across the full length of the sofa, with no separate frame to unfold and no cushions to remove. Push the platform back in the morning and the Milton is a sofa again.

Will it fit my room?

The Milton measures 228cm wide, 147cm deep across the chaise and 79cm high. Before you order, measure the wall it will sit against and the depth of the space in front of it, then allow room for the bed platform to pull forward when it is in use as a bed. It is also worth measuring doorways, hallways and the turn of any stairs on the way to the room. As shown in our photographs the chaise sits on the left-hand side as you face the sofa, so check this suits the layout of your room before ordering.

Caring for your sofa bed

Vacuum the fabric regularly with a soft brush attachment and plump the back and seat cushions to keep their shape. Blot any spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, and keep the sofa out of strong direct sunlight to help the grey stay even over time. When you use the bed, pull the platform out by the strap rather than by the cushions, and push it fully home before sitting on the sofa again.

Pull the fabric strap at the front of the seat and the bed platform slides forward from underneath until it sits level with the chaise. The platform and chaise together make the sleeping area. Push it back in to return to a sofa.
