Description
Aluxo Rubin Curved Corner Chaise Sofa in Bouclé
The Rubin is a sofa built around one idea: a room feels calmer when its biggest piece of furniture has no hard corners. The back curves round at each end, the chaise finishes in a sweeping rounded edge, and the whole piece is covered in a soft, nubby bouclé, so it reads as one sculpted form rather than a frame with cushions on top.
It is a generous piece. The Rubin measures 326 cm along the back, with a 175 cm sofa section and a 145 cm curved chaise that is 135 cm deep, enough to stretch out full length for a film without needing a separate footstool. Seat height is 47 cm and the back stands 71 cm high, so it sits low and relaxed without being hard to get out of.
Choose Pebble, a warm stone-grey that brightens north-facing rooms and sits happily with oak, cane and linen, or Charcoal, a deep grey that grounds a lighter scheme and is more forgiving with children, pets and everyday use. As pictured, it comes with loose back cushions and scatter cushions in matching bouclé.
Why customers choose the Rubin
- A chaise you can actually lie on. At 135 cm deep and 145 cm across, the curved chaise is big enough to curl up on with a book or share with a child for a bedtime story.
- Bouclé that softens a room. The looped texture catches light and adds depth, so the sofa looks rich even in a plain, minimal space.
- Built to last. A solid wooden frame is padded with high-quality foam, giving a supportive seat that keeps its shape.
- Works away from the wall. The back is fully upholstered and curved, so the Rubin looks finished from every angle in an open-plan room.

Measuring for a curved sofa
Mark out 326 cm along the wall and 135 cm out from it at the chaise end with masking tape, and check the space you need to walk round it. The sofa section is 97 cm deep, so measure the narrowest doorway and the tightest turn on the stairs before you order. Send us your measurements if you want them checked.
Caring for bouclé
Vacuum gently with an upholstery brush every week or two to lift dust from the loops. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth rather than rubbing, and keep the sofa out of strong direct sunlight to protect the colour. Snag a loop? Never pull it; ease it back into the weave with a blunt needle.
Delivery
Delivery is free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We are unable to deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. After you order we confirm your delivery date by email.
Frequently asked questions
How big is the Rubin corner chaise sofa?
326 cm long overall. The sofa section is 175 cm long and 97 cm deep; the curved chaise is 145 cm wide and 135 cm deep. It is 71 cm high with a 47 cm seat height.
Which side is the chaise on?
As pictured, the chaise is on the right-hand end when you are facing the sofa. If you need the other hand, contact us before ordering.
Is bouclé practical for family life?
Yes, with a little care. The looped weave hides everyday marks well, and Charcoal is the more forgiving shade for busy homes with children or pets. If you have a cat that scratches, choose a flat weave instead.
How firm is the seat?
Medium: supportive enough to sit upright, soft enough to sink into in the evening.
Do you deliver to Scotland?
No. We deliver free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey, but not to Scotland, Northern Ireland or the islands listed above.
