The Jay-Be Heritage 2 seater sofa bed is a classic rolled-arm sofa that opens, in seconds, into a genuinely comfortable double bed. It is built for homes where the spare room is also the living room — a sofa you are happy to look at every day, and a bed you are happy to put a guest in.
A real bed, not a compromise
Underneath the seat is a full e-Pocket® sprung mattress with a wool-topped, breathable surface. Individually wrapped pockets respond to weight independently, so a guest is supported evenly rather than rolling into a dip. Jay-Be back this mattress with a five-year guarantee and the sofa frame with a lifetime guarantee.
The premium mechanism holds the seat and back cushions in place as the bed comes out, so there is no wrestling with cushions and no lifting the whole sofa. One person can open it comfortably.
Twenty-six fabrics, three characters
Choose from three fabric families, each in a full colour range:
- Luxe Velvet — an opulent woven velvet with a luxurious, soft feel. Nine colours from Charcoal and Steel through to Saffron and Shiraz.
- Cosy Chenille — a plush woven fabric with a soft, cosy handle. Ten colours including Aqua, Cork, Hedge and Spice.
- Brushed Twill — a flat woven fabric with a natural wool look and feel. Seven colours including Hunter, Linen, Pewter and Admiral.
Every fabric carries Green FR® protection — non-toxic flame retardancy rather than heavy chemical treatment — and is certified to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Made in the UK, made properly
Jay-Be manufacture the Heritage in Yorkshire using FSC® certified wood, and operate as a zero-to-landfill manufacturer. They were awarded the BFM Excellence in Sustainability Award in 2023. The sofa is designed to be dismantled for easier recycling at the end of its life.
Delivery and access
The Heritage is made to order, with a lead time of 4–6 weeks. It is delivered free to mainland England and Wales, direct from Jay-Be.
It arrives as three separate boxes, the largest measuring 103 x 91 x 55 cm, with a combined weight of 104 kg. Please measure your front door and the route to it before ordering, allowing for the packaging.
