The Zara Rattan Arm Sofa Bed is a 208cm rattan sofa bed with natural cane set into the arms and a solid wood frame on show. It is the one piece in this range where the frame is part of the design rather than hidden beneath upholstery.

The back is low at 84cm and the depth is 88cm, giving it a lighter, more open profile than a conventional padded sofa. The back folds down onto a supported metal mechanism to create the bed.

Why a low back and an open frame matter

An 84cm back is roughly 8cm lower than a standard sofa. In an open-plan room that is the difference between seating that divides the space and seating you can see over. Combined with the exposed cane and raised wooden legs, Zara takes up far less visual space than its 208cm width suggests.
