Aegean blue velvet
Aegean blue is a deep, slightly grey-leaning navy — dark enough to be practical, blue enough not to be black. In velvet it shifts as you move past it, because the pile lies in one direction and catches light differently from each angle. That is what gives a velvet sofa its depth, and it is why a photograph never quite does one justice.
A scatter back, not a fixed one
The Lenox has loose scatter cushions across the back rather than fixed upholstered panels. It is a different way of sitting: you arrange the back to suit you instead of accepting the shape the factory chose. Plumped up it reads formal; pushed about after an evening it reads comfortable. Both are correct.
The seat cushions are deep and generous, and the whole frame sits on slim dark metal legs so the sofa does not look heavy despite the amount of fabric on it.
Two sizes
- 3 Seater — 222cm wide, 96cm deep, 70cm high. Seat width 170cm, seat depth 56cm.
- 2 Seater — the same 96cm depth, 70cm height and 56cm seat depth in a narrower frame. Pairs with the three seater.
The 70cm height is deliberately low for a sofa of this scale, which keeps sightlines open in a smaller room. Please check your access route — doorway widths, turns and stair landings — before ordering.
Care
Velvet benefits from a regular brush in the direction of the pile with a soft clothes brush. Do not soak a mark; blot it. Pile shading after use is a characteristic of velvet, not a fault.

Free delivery to England and Wales mainland. We do not currently deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or the offshore islands.
Buying a range rather than a sofa
A range means the same frame and the same fabric across several sizes, so a three seater, a two seater and a chair can be bought together and will actually match — not “nearly match”, which is what happens when pieces are bought a year apart from different batches.
Living with velvet
Velvet shades: brushed one way it looks darker, the other way lighter. That movement under a lamp is why velvet reads as expensive, and it is the fabric behaving correctly rather than a fault. Brush the pile one way with a soft clothes brush, blot spills rather than rubbing, and keep it out of sustained direct sunlight, which fades dyed pile unevenly.
Delivery
Delivered free to mainland England and Wales. We do not currently deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or the offshore islands. Large upholstery is delivered in sections wherever the design allows, which makes a narrow hallway or a turn on the stairs far less of a problem.
