Description
Four pieces, one corner
The Hudson corner arrives as four separate modules that assemble in the room. That is the practical answer to the problem every corner sofa has: a 262cm L-shape will not go up a staircase or round a tight hall in one piece. Four modules will go through a standard doorway.
Fixed back, double sprung seat
Fully upholstered fixed backs rather than loose scatter cushions, so the sofa holds its shape without anybody plumping it. The seat runs on a double sprung unit rather than webbing alone — more expensive to build, and the reason a sofa still sits level after five years of daily use instead of developing a dip.
Five colours
Steel, pebble grey, ebony black, teal green and marine blue. The greys are the safe choices; teal and marine are for a room where the sofa is meant to be the colour.

Measure before you order
A corner sofa is the one piece of furniture people most often regret buying without measuring. Three numbers matter: the width of your narrowest doorway, the width of the turn at the top or bottom of your stairs, and the length of the wall the long side will sit against. Measure the doorway diagonally as well as straight across — a section that will not go through flat will often go through on its side.
Leave at least 60cm of walking space in front of the seat. On paper a corner group always looks smaller than it lives.
Fabric and care
Weekly vacuuming with a soft upholstery head does most of the work. Keep it out of direct, sustained sunlight where you can — strong light fades any upholstery fabric over time, and it fades unevenly, which is what makes it obvious.
Delivery
Delivered free to mainland England and Wales. We do not currently deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or the offshore islands. Large upholstery is delivered in sections wherever the design allows, which makes a narrow hallway or a turn on the stairs far less of a problem.
Questions people ask
How many people does a four-piece corner seat comfortably? Five adults sitting normally, or four with room to spread out.
Are the sections fixed together? They connect with brackets so the group does not drift apart in use, and can be separated again if you move.
Can I use it with a rug underneath? Yes, and it helps. A rug that reaches under the front legs stops the group looking like it is floating.
What is the frame made of? A timber frame with foam and fibre filling — the standard construction for a sofa built to be sat on every day.
How long does assembly take? Minutes. The sections clip together.
