It is upholstered all over in grey bouclé. Bouclé is a looped yarn, so the surface has a dense, textured pile rather than a flat finish. On a rounded frame like this one it gives the sofa its definition: the loops catch light across the curves, so the shape stays readable instead of flattening into a single block of grey.

Measuring up

Living with bouclé
