The Bubble takes its name from its shape — deep, rounded arms and a low back that give it a soft, almost inflated silhouette. At 230cm wide it is a genuine three seater rather than a generous two, and the depth means it is built for sitting back in rather than perching on.
Grey boucle
Boucle is a looped yarn, so the surface has a dense, textured pile rather than a flat finish. On a rounded frame like this one it gives the sofa its definition — the loops catch light across the curves so the shape stays readable instead of flattening into a single block of grey.

At 230cm wide and 100cm deep this is a large piece. Measure your doorways, hallway turns and stairwell before ordering — the depth is usually the constraint, not the width.

Living with bouclé
Bouclé is a looped yarn, which is what gives it that soft, nubbly surface. Two things follow from that. It is forgiving — the texture hides light marks and creasing far better than a flat weave. And it is snag-prone — a claw or a sharp zip can pull a loop out of line.
If a loop does pull, do not cut it. Ease it back into the weave with a blunt needle or the tip of a pen. Vacuum with a soft brush head rather than a beater bar, which is what tugs loops loose in the first place.

Delivered free to mainland England and Wales. We do not currently deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or the offshore islands. Large upholstery is delivered in sections wherever the design allows, which makes a narrow hallway or a turn on the stairs far less of a problem.
Questions people ask
Will a cat ruin it? Claws and looped yarn are a poor combination. If you have a cat that scratches furniture, choose a flat weave or a velvet instead.
How many does a three seater actually seat? Three adults, comfortably two with space to spread out.
Does grey bouclé show marks? Less than most fabrics — the texture breaks up light and hides a great deal.
Can I wash the covers? Check the care label before removing anything. Most bouclé is spot-clean only.
Is it firm or soft? A medium sit — supportive with a soft surface feel.
