Description
The Quant Hinged Mirrored Wardrobe 250cm is a four-door wardrobe for a full bedroom wall, in knotty Oak Artisan with black matt trim. The two centre doors are full-height mirrors, the two outer doors are oak, and an LED strip runs along the top of the front. It measures 250cm wide, 221cm high and 63cm deep.
Design
With mirrors in the middle and oak either side, the front is symmetrical and works well facing a bed or a window, where the mirrors bounce the light back into the room. The black matt edges, plinth and frame give the Quant range its industrial character, and the LED lighting adds a soft glow above the doors in the evening. The doors open on hinges, so leave about 50cm to 60cm clear in front of the wardrobe for them to swing.
Storage inside
Inside are two hanging rails and twelve shelves. The hanging sections sit behind the doors either side of the centre, with columns of open shelves at the outer ends and between, plus top compartments for boxes and spare bedding. Arte-N rate each shelf at 5kg, which suits folded clothes, jeans, towels and shoe boxes. The black back panels match the trim. At 63cm deep, standard hangers hang square without catching the doors.
Size and fit
It measures W250cm x H221cm x D63cm. At 221cm it is taller than most wardrobes, so check the height under beams, coving or a sloping ceiling. Tall cabinets like this are built lying down and stood up, so allow a ceiling of at least 2.3m in the room where it is assembled. It weighs about 249kg once built and must be fixed to the wall.
Materials and lighting
Made from 16mm laminated board with ABS edging, which protects the edges from knocks and everyday wear. LED lighting is included in the price.
