Winn II 3 Door Mirrored Sliding Wardrobe 270cm with 6 Drawers

Description

The Winn II 3 Door Mirrored Sliding Wardrobe 270cm is the largest wardrobe in the Winn II range and the one to choose for a shared master bedroom. Three sliding doors cover 269.7cm of wall. The centre door is a full-height mirror, and both outer doors are cut away at the bottom around a stack of three drawers, giving six drawers in all, three for each person. It is finished in matt white with a dark grey interior.

Design

The layout is symmetrical: a drawer stack on each side and the mirror in the middle, which makes the wardrobe a calm, balanced backdrop for a bed placed opposite. Shadow lines run across all three doors at the same height. The drawers sit in the front line of the wardrobe, so both sets can be opened without moving any door, and the mirror can be slid over either side bay when you want to reach in.

Storage inside

Inside are three bays. The centre bay, about 83cm wide, has a top shelf with about 36cm of space above it and a long rail with roughly 155cm of hanging height for dresses, coats and full-length trousers. Each side bay, about 90cm wide, has a rail with about 110cm of hanging height for shirts and jackets above a shelf; below that shelf sit the three drawers and an open compartment about 82cm high, handy for shoes, a laundry basket or folded bedding. That gives three hanging rails and three shelves in total. Each drawer has an internal space of about 53.7cm by 33.8cm and 12.7cm deep.

Load ratings

Arte-N rate each drawer at 5kg and each hanging rail at 25kg. The drawers run on ball-bearing runners and the handles are metal.

Size and fit

It measures W269.7cm x D61cm x H200.5cm (Arte-N’s drawing shows the carcass itself at 57.6cm deep, with the door track adding the rest). The wardrobe is built lying on its back and then stood up, so you need a ceiling of at least 2.2m in the room where it is assembled. It weighs about 190.5kg once built and arrives in several heavy boxes, so plan for two adults, a clear floor and a good afternoon for the build.

Looking after it

Clean the mirror with glass cleaner on a cloth, wipe the white panels with a soft damp cloth and dry them, and keep the bottom track clear of fluff. Spread heavy items across the three rails rather than loading one.

How it compares

The Winn II Mirrored Sliding Wardrobe 250cm has two doors and three drawers for a slightly narrower wall. The Winn II 3 Door Sliding Wardrobe 270cm has the same six-drawer layout with plain doors and more colour choices.
