Description
The Quant Door Cabinet (QA-07) is a tall, slim cupboard: 60cm wide and 140cm high, with one hinged door, four shelves inside and LED lighting built in. Finished in rustic Oak Artisan inside a black frame, it brings the industrial Quant look to a bedroom, living room, dining room or hallway.
Design
A black frame wraps the oak-effect body and continues down as squared-off legs, which lift the cabinet off the floor and give it a loft-apartment feel. The door is a single flat oak-effect panel with no visible handle, and the top section has a lit strip that throws a soft glow, a good accent light for a dim corner. The Oak Artisan finish has knots and cracks printed into the grain for a reclaimed-wood character.
Storage
Behind the door are four laminated board shelves, each rated to 5kg. That suits folded clothes and accessories in a bedroom, board games and media in a living room, or bowls, glasses and table linen in a dining room. Because it is only 60cm wide and 41cm deep, it fits alcoves and the space beside a chest of drawers or TV unit where a full sideboard would not.
Size and fit
It measures W60cm x H140cm x D41cm and weighs 40kg. Allow roughly 60cm of clear space in front for the door to open, and check which side you want it to open towards before you build it. As a tall piece, fix it to the wall with a suitable anti-tip fitting, especially in a home with young children.
