Description
The Lizbona II Mirrored Sliding Door Wardrobe 250cm is a wide, tall wardrobe with a large central mirror on sliding doors, a hanging bay with two drawers below it, and shelving on both sides. At 250cm wide and 215cm high it is a statement piece for a main bedroom, in White Matt, Oak Sonoma or Black Matt with Oak Viking.
Design
Closed, the front shows a broad mirror in the centre with grooved, trimmed panels and long bar handles at each side. The mirror is wide enough to see a full outfit and bounces daylight round the room, so a large wardrobe feels less heavy on the wall. The doors run on aluminium runners with bearing rollers for a smooth, quiet slide.
Three finishes
White Matt keeps it light and bright, the easiest choice for a small room. Oak Sonoma is a pale, slightly grey-toned oak effect that warms a white or grey scheme. Black Matt / Oak Viking sets a darker, rustic oak effect in a black matt frame for a bold, hotel-style look. All three are laminated board, so they resist scuffs and wipe clean, and the mirror panels are the same in each.
Storage inside
Arte-N’s interior photograph shows a row of compartments across the top, then a central hanging bay with a rail for shirts, dresses and jackets and two drawers beneath it for underwear, socks and accessories. Either side of the hanging bay is a column of open shelves for folded clothes, shoes and boxes, so each person can have their own side. It is a layout that suits people who fold more than they hang.
Size and fit
It measures 250cm wide, 61cm deep and 215cm high. Check your ceiling before ordering: the wardrobe is assembled lying down and raised, and its side diagonal is about 224cm, so allow a ceiling of at least 2.3m. It weighs about 237kg once built, which is heavy for a wardrobe, so plan for two strong adults, build it in the room where it will stand, and always fix it to the wall.
Looking after it
Spray glass cleaner onto a cloth rather than straight onto the mirror. Wipe the laminated panels with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry them. Vacuum the floor track occasionally so the doors keep running freely.
