The Kudl Bookcase Headboard Attachment in grey gives all of it a home right where your child sleeps. It fixes to the end of a Kudl low cabin bed or multi drawer cabin bed and turns a plain end panel into four open shelves at pillow height.
Soft grey is the practical choice for a room that has to grow with a child. It hides everyday scuffs better than white, works in a nursery-to-big-bed room and still looks right when your child reaches their teens.
The attachment is made from melamine faced chipboard (MFC), so the surface wipes clean and resists the knocks of everyday family life. It is 96 cm wide to line up with the bed, stands 100 cm tall and is just 18 cm deep, so it adds storage without eating into floor space. You can fit it at the head end, at the foot end, or buy two and fit one at each end for a fully enclosed, cosy cabin.
Which beds does it fit?
This grey attachment is designed for two Kudl cabin beds in the matching grey finish: the low cabin bed with storage (Kidsaw code K1G) and the multi drawer cabin bed (Kidsaw code K2G). It is not a freestanding bookcase and should only be used fixed to one of those beds. In our range they are the Kudl Low Cabin Bed with Storage, Grey and the Kudl Multi Drawer Cabin Bed, Grey.
Buying the bed new? The bookcase headboard versions of these beds (K1GBUN and K2GBUN) already include one attachment and cost less than buying the bed and the attachment separately. This attachment is the right choice if you already own the bed and want to add a bookcase, or if you want a second one at the foot end.

Safety and care
Fix the attachment to the bed exactly as the instructions show and check the fixings from time to time, as you would with any child’s furniture. Keep heavy items on the lower shelves and discourage climbing. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and dry straight away; avoid abrasive cleaners, which can dull the surface.

No. This is the bookcase attachment on its own. The bed is sold separately, or choose the bookcase headboard version of the bed, which includes one.
