It depends on the bed frame. Some bed frames require a box spring for support, while others have slats or other support systems built in. If you are unsure whether your mattress will fit on the bed frame, please feel free to get in touch with us and we will happy to assist. 

Assembly will depend greatly on the type of bed frame you have. All of our bed frames come with detailed instructions for easy assembly and we recommend that you have somebody to assist you as some parts can be heavy to move into place.
