The Imola IM-01 Corner Wardrobe is a 95cm wide, 198cm tall wardrobe built for the way a child’s bedroom actually gets used — more storage than floor space, and everything behind a door rather than on show. a combination that sits comfortably against painted walls and natural wood flooring without dominating the room.

The doors open to a hanging section. At 50cm deep it takes a standard hanger square-on, which is the measurement most wardrobes of this width get wrong.

Dimensions

Measure the route in as well as the space it will stand in. The carton is flat but long, so a tight stairwell or a turn on a landing is worth checking before you order.

Delivery and assembly

Made to order and delivered direct, typically within 3-5 weeks. We deliver to England and Wales mainland only; the Scottish Highlands and the offshore islands are outside our delivery area. Assembly is straightforward with two people and an hour or so — the panels are pre-drilled and the instructions are picture-led.

Planning the space

Allow the full 95cm of wall plus a little either side — pushing a wardrobe hard against a return wall makes the nearer door awkward to open and puts strain on the hinge over time. The 198cm height leaves most ceilings clear, but check coving and any sloping ceiling at the point where the unit will stand. Doors need their own swing: roughly 48cm of clear floor in front of each one, which is worth marking out with tape before the delivery arrives.

In a child’s room, hanging space matters less than you would think and shelf space matters more — uniform, folded jumpers, bags and the things that never find a home. The finish is plain enough to sit alongside furniture you already own rather than demanding a matching set. Questions we get asked

Will it take full-length coats?

Yes. At 198cm tall the hanging section clears a full-length coat comfortably.

Can it be fixed to the wall?

Yes, and we would recommend it — particularly in a child’s room. Tall furniture should be anchored to the wall. A strap or bracket is not supplied, so add one to your order if you do not have fixings to hand.

Is the interior adjustable?

The internal layout is fixed as shown. If you need a particular arrangement, measure the sections against what you plan to store before ordering.

What if a panel arrives damaged?

Tell us within 48 hours with a photograph and we will arrange a replacement panel rather than a whole unit. Flat-pack furniture is shipped panel by panel, so a single damaged piece is rarely a reason to return the lot.
