Description
The Genua 4 Door Hinged Wardrobe gives a couple a full-length hanging section each in 210cm of width. Four flush doors, long vertical bar handles and a frame that wraps the front give it a tailored, fitted look, and it comes in four finishes: Bottle Green with a black frame, White Matt, Sand Beige or Oak Wild. It is the middle size of the Genua range and the one that suits most main bedrooms.
Design
There is no decoration on the doors, just two long bar handles where each pair of doors meets. That restraint lets the finish carry the room: Bottle Green makes it a feature wall, White Matt lets it fade back, Sand Beige warms a neutral scheme and Oak Wild brings texture. At 217cm high it reaches close to a standard ceiling, which makes it look built-in rather than stood against the wall.
Four finishes
Bottle Green pairs deep green doors with a black matt frame, a strong look against pale walls, natural linen and brass. White Matt is the quiet option that disappears into a white or grey scheme and keeps a small room bright. Sand Beige is a warm putty neutral that sits well with oak floors, cream bedding and soft caramel tones. Oak Wild is a knotty, mid-tone wood effect for a Scandi or rustic room. All four are low-sheen, so they do not show fingerprints the way gloss does.
Storage inside
Each pair of doors opens onto a 100cm-wide section with a hanging rail and about 122cm of hanging space beneath it, enough for shirts, jackets, trousers folded over a hanger and most dresses. Above each rail are two shelves, roughly 35cm apart, for jumpers, bags and spare bedding. Opening one pair of doors gives a full view of that side, so it is easy to see everything you own. Add a slim chest of drawers or under-bed storage for underwear and socks.
Size and fit
It measures 210cm wide, 65cm deep and 217cm high. The 65cm depth takes hangers comfortably. Leave about 50cm of clear floor in front so the doors can open, and measure your wall including skirting boards, sockets and radiators. It is assembled on its back and stood up, so you need a ceiling of roughly 2.3m (the side panel diagonal is about 226cm). It weighs about 185kg once built and is a two-person job.
Looking after it
The laminated board finish wipes clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth; dry it straight away and avoid abrasive pads, bleach or solvent cleaners, which can mark a matt surface. Do not overload a single shelf or the rail with very heavy items, spread the weight across the interior instead, and check the hinge screws a few weeks after assembly in case a door needs a small adjustment to sit level with its neighbour.
