Description

The Evora Slatted Mirrored Sliding Wardrobe 250cm is the larger Evora, a 250cm wide, 65cm deep and 215cm tall wardrobe for a main bedroom. The black matt cabinet carries one plain Cashmere sliding door and one door that combines a full-height mirror with Oak Wotan vertical slats. Behind them are two drawers, shelves and three separate hanging spaces, enough for two people.

Design

The Evora puts three finishes on one front. The cabinet is black matt. One sliding door is a calm Cashmere panel, a warm greige split into three horizontal sections. The other door is divided vertically into a full-height mirror and a band of Oak Wotan wood-effect panelling with raised vertical slats. The slats add texture and shadow, the mirror lightens the room, and the black frame ties it together, so it suits Japandi, modern rustic and contemporary bedrooms. A slim aluminium-look track runs along the top. This Evora is a separate model from our Evora 19 to 27 hinged-door bedroom range, which has a different look.

Storage inside

Arte-N’s interior photograph shows three sections with a black matt interior. The left section has open shelves above two pull-out drawers at the bottom, for underwear, socks, accessories and folded T-shirts. The centre section is double hanging, with an upper and a lower rail for shirts, jackets and skirts. The right section has a rail at the top over shelves, for a further row of hanging plus folded clothes or shoes. At 65cm deep, hangers sit side-on with room to spare. Arte-N do not publish rail drops or shelf spacings for this model, so we have not quoted them; there is no single full-length rail for maxi dresses or long coats.

Size and fit

It measures W250cm x D65cm x H215cm. At 215cm it is taller than many wardrobes, so check the height under any beam, coving or sloping ceiling. It is built lying down and then raised, so you need a ceiling of at least 2.3m where it is assembled. Arte-N give the weight as about 224kg, so build it in the room where it will stay and check floor access for the boxes.

Looking after it

Dust the slats with a soft brush or microfibre cloth, clean the mirror with glass cleaner sprayed onto a cloth, and wipe the matt panels with a slightly damp cloth, drying them straight away. Keep the bottom track clear of fluff and do not overfill the drawers, so everything runs smoothly.

Delivery is free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We cannot deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. The Evora 250cm wardrobe is supplied by Arte-N and the current lead time is 4 to 6 weeks; we confirm a delivery date by email or phone before it leaves the warehouse. It arrives flat-packed in several heavy boxes for self-assembly (about 224kg in total), so check access through the front door and up the stairs, and allow two adults for the build. We recommend fixing it to the wall once it is standing.
