Description

The Evora Slatted Mirrored Sliding Wardrobe 203cm is a statement two-door wardrobe for a modern bedroom. It is 203cm wide, 65cm deep and 215cm tall, with one plain Cashmere door and one door that pairs a full-height mirror with Oak Wotan vertical slats, all set in a black matt cabinet. Inside are open shelves and double hanging.

Design

The Evora puts three finishes on one front. The cabinet is black matt. One sliding door is a calm Cashmere panel, a warm greige split into three horizontal sections. The other door is divided vertically into a full-height mirror and a band of Oak Wotan wood-effect panelling with raised vertical slats. The slats add texture and shadow, the mirror lightens the room, and the black frame ties it together, so it suits Japandi, modern rustic and contemporary bedrooms. A slim aluminium-look track runs along the top. This Evora is a separate model from our Evora 19 to 27 hinged-door bedroom range, which has a different look.

Storage inside

Arte-N’s interior photograph shows the cabinet split into two sections with a black matt interior. The left section is open shelving, stacked in five spaces from floor to top, for folded jumpers, jeans, bags and shoe boxes. The right section is double hanging: an upper rail and a lower rail, so two rows of shirts, jackets, skirts and folded trousers share the space one long rail would take. At 65cm deep there is full room for hangers side-on. Arte-N do not publish shelf spacings or rail drops for this model, so we have not quoted them; there is no full-length rail and no drawers in the 203cm size.

Size and fit

It measures W203cm x D65cm x H215cm. At 215cm it is taller than many wardrobes, so check the height under any sloping ceiling, beam or coving. Because it is built lying down and then stood up, you need a ceiling of at least 2.3m in the room where it is assembled. Arte-N give the weight as about 170kg, so build it in the room where it will stay.

Looking after it

Dust the slats with a soft brush or microfibre cloth, clean the mirror with glass cleaner sprayed onto a cloth rather than the surface, and wipe the matt panels with a slightly damp cloth, drying them straight away. Keep the bottom track clear of fluff so the doors glide quietly.

Delivery is free to mainland England and mainland Wales, including Anglesey. We cannot deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Wight or the Isles of Scilly. The Evora 203cm wardrobe is supplied by Arte-N and the current lead time is 4 to 6 weeks; we confirm a delivery date by email or phone before it leaves the warehouse. It arrives flat-packed in several heavy boxes for self-assembly (about 170kg in total), so check access through the front door and up the stairs, and allow two adults for the build. We recommend fixing it to the wall once it is standing.
