Description
The Dentro DT-01 Mirrored Sliding Door Wardrobe is a 220cm, three-door sliding wardrobe in White Matt with an Oak Sterling plinth. The centre door is a mirror, the two outer doors are plain white, and inside you get two hanging rails either side of a central shelving tower with six shelves, plus top compartments for bedding and bags. At 215cm tall it uses the height of the room well.
Design
The mirrored centre door is divided by fine horizontal grooves, which tie it to the outer doors and stop it looking like a plain sheet of glass. A warm Oak Sterling plinth runs along the base and lifts the white. Because the doors slide, nothing swings into the room, which makes it a good choice opposite a bed or in a narrow room.
Storage inside
Arte-N’s interior photograph shows three bays. The left and right bays each have a hanging rail under a top compartment, so two people can hang shirts, dresses and coats on their own side, with floor space below for shoes, bags or a laundry basket. The centre bay is a shelving tower with large compartments for folded clothes, shoes, cosmetics or books. Across the top run further compartments for spare duvets, pillows and travel bags.
Size and fit
It measures 220cm wide, 215cm high and 63cm deep. The 63cm depth is generous, so hangers sit square and the doors never rub on clothes. It is taller than most wardrobes and is built lying down, with a side diagonal of about 224cm, so you need a ceiling of at least 2.3m. It weighs about 212kg once assembled, mostly from the mirror and the 16mm board, so allow two adults and fix it to the wall.
Materials and care
The carcass and doors are 16mm laminated board. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it; spray glass cleaner onto a cloth, not directly onto the mirror. Keep the bottom track clear of dust so the doors run freely.
