Description
The Dentro DT-03P Bedside Cabinet is a low, compact bedside in White Matt and Oak Sterling, with one drawer and an open top. It is built to sit tight against the side of a bed: one side is closed by a white panel, and the open side is meant to butt up to the bed frame, so the bed itself becomes the fourth side.
A handed cabinet
Dentro is made in two handings. This is the DT-03P; its mirror image is the Dentro DT-03L, which is also on our site. Each has a closed white panel on one side and an open side that sits against the bed, so a DT-03P and a DT-03L together make a matching pair, one each side of the bed, with the closed panels facing outwards. If you are buying just one, check the product photos to see which side is closed, or contact us before ordering and we will confirm the handing with Arte-N.
Design
Dentro pairs crisp white matt panels with a light Oak Sterling wood-effect finish. It is a clean, Scandinavian-style look that suits a bright bedroom, a guest room or a teenager’s room, and it does not compete with a patterned headboard or bold bedding. The drawer front is plain, with no fussy hardware.
Storage
The single drawer takes the things you want close but out of sight: chargers, glasses, a book, hand cream or medication. The top surface holds a lamp, a phone and a glass of water, and the raised side panel helps stop small items sliding off the open edge.
Size and height
It is 40cm wide, 40cm deep and 35cm high. That is lower than most bedsides, so it is best with a low bed, a divan on short legs, a platform bed or a mattress on a low frame. Before ordering, measure from the floor to the top of your mattress: a bedside reads best when its top sits level with, or slightly below, the mattress.
Looking after it
The cabinet is made from 16mm laminated board. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it off; avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners on the white surfaces. Use a mat or coaster under drinks to protect the top.
