Bali Lux 4 Door Mirrored Wardrobe 196cm with Slatted Doors and Drawers

Description

The Bali Lux 4 Door Mirrored Wardrobe is the widest model in the range at 196cm, built for a main bedroom. Two vertical-slatted oak-effect doors sit at each end, two full-length mirrored doors meet in the centre, and three wide drawers run beneath the mirrors, so it can replace a separate wardrobe, chest and dressing mirror in one wall.

Design

The double mirror gives a near-full-length reflection wide enough to check an outfit from head to toe, and it makes a big piece of furniture feel lighter by reflecting the room. The slatted end doors add texture so the run of doors does not read as one flat surface. Left and right are mirror images of each other, which suits a wall centred on the bed or a window.

Two finishes

Oak Wotan / Black Matt pairs a warm, mid-toned oak-effect body and oak slats with black matt drawer fronts and dark grooves between the slats. It is the richer of the two and suits darker walls, Japandi schemes and industrial-style bedrooms. Oak Wotan / White Matt sets the same oak slats against a white matt body and white drawer fronts, which keeps a small room bright and works with a Scandi or coastal look. Both versions have slim black bar handles.

Storage inside

Behind the two mirrored doors is a wide central hanging section with a rail above the three drawers, good for shirts, jackets and trousers. Behind each slatted door is a full-height column of shelves for jumpers, jeans, bedding and shoe boxes. It suits a couple who want hanging in the middle and their own shelves at each end.

Size and fit

It is 196cm wide, 57.5cm deep and 200cm high. Allow about 50cm of clear floor in front for the hinged doors, and check the full width of the wall including skirting and any radiator. The diagonal is about 208cm, so a ceiling of 2.1m or more lets you stand it up after assembling it on its back. At about 178kg it is a two-person build and should be fixed to the wall.

Looking after it

Bali Lux is made from laminated board, which is hard-wearing and easy to keep clean. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Run a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment down the slats now and then to lift dust from the grooves. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, and spray glass cleaner onto a cloth rather than straight onto the mirror so it does not run into the edges.
