Bali Lux 3 Door Mirrored Wardrobe 149cm with Slatted Doors and Drawers

Description

The Bali Lux 3 Door Mirrored Wardrobe is the middle size in the range and the easiest to share. Two vertical-slatted oak-effect doors frame a central full-length mirror, and three drawers sit below the mirror, giving a symmetrical front that looks like a fitted piece in a 149cm width.

Design

The slatted outer doors bring the ribbed, panelled look that suits modern and Japandi bedrooms, while the mirror in the centre breaks up the width and reflects light from the window. Because the layout is symmetrical it sits well centred on a wall or between two bedside tables, and the slats help a 1.5m piece of furniture feel lighter than a flat-fronted triple.

Two finishes

Oak Wotan / Black Matt pairs a warm, mid-toned oak-effect body and oak slats with black matt drawer fronts and dark grooves between the slats. It is the richer of the two and suits darker walls, Japandi schemes and industrial-style bedrooms. Oak Wotan / White Matt sets the same oak slats against a white matt body and white drawer fronts, which keeps a small room bright and works with a Scandi or coastal look. Both versions have slim black bar handles.

Storage inside

Each slatted door opens onto its own full-height hanging section with a rail and a shelf above, so two people can each have a side. The centre section behind the mirror holds a column of shelves above the three drawers, for folded knitwear, jeans and smaller items. Long coats and dresses hang in the outer sections without folding at the hem.

Size and fit

It is 149cm wide, 57.5cm deep and 200cm high. That width suits the wall opposite a double or king-size bed in most UK bedrooms. All three doors are hinged, so allow about 50cm of clear floor in front of the wardrobe. The diagonal is about 208cm, so a ceiling of 2.1m or more lets you stand it up after assembling it on its back.

Looking after it

Bali Lux is made from laminated board, which is hard-wearing and easy to keep clean. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Run a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment down the slats now and then to lift dust from the grooves. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, and spray glass cleaner onto a cloth rather than straight onto the mirror so it does not run into the edges.
