Bali Lux 2 Door Mirrored Wardrobe 100cm with Slatted Door and Drawers

Description

The Bali Lux 2 Door Mirrored Wardrobe packs a full wardrobe into a 100cm width. The left door carries a run of vertical oak-effect slats, the right door is a full-length mirror, and below the mirror sit three drawers, so one compact piece covers hanging, folding and a place to check an outfit.

Design

Slatted fronts have moved from living-room panelling into bedroom furniture, and Bali Lux uses them to stop a small wardrobe looking like a plain box. The slats add texture and shadow, the mirror bounces light back into the room, and the drawers give the front a solid base. At 100cm it fits an alcove, a box room or the wall beside a single bed.

Two finishes

Oak Wotan / Black Matt pairs a warm, mid-toned oak-effect body and oak slats with black matt drawer fronts and dark grooves between the slats. It is the richer of the two and suits darker walls, Japandi schemes and industrial-style bedrooms. Oak Wotan / White Matt sets the same oak slats against a white matt body and white drawer fronts, which keeps a small room bright and works with a Scandi or coastal look. Both versions have slim black bar handles.

Storage inside

Behind the slatted door is a full-height hanging section with a rail and a shelf above it for bags or folded jumpers. Behind the mirrored door is a column of shelves above the three drawers, which suit underwear, socks, T-shirts and gym kit. That split means you rarely need a separate chest of drawers in a smaller room.

Size and fit

It is 100cm wide, 57.5cm deep and 200cm high. The depth leaves room for coat hangers to hang side-on, and the 200cm height clears a standard UK ceiling with space to spare. Both doors are hinged, so allow roughly a door’s width (about 50cm) of clear floor in front for them to open. The diagonal is about 208cm, so a ceiling of 2.1m or more lets you stand it up after assembling it on its back.

Looking after it

Bali Lux is made from laminated board, which is hard-wearing and easy to keep clean. Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away. Run a soft brush or a vacuum brush attachment down the slats now and then to lift dust from the grooves. Avoid abrasive pads and solvent cleaners, and spray glass cleaner onto a cloth rather than straight onto the mirror so it does not run into the edges.
