Description
The Bali 4 Door Mirrored Wardrobe is the main-bedroom size of the Bali range. At 196cm wide it takes a full couple’s wardrobe: two mirrored doors in the centre, three external drawers beneath them, a central hanging rail and a tall column of shelves at each end. It can stand in for a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a dressing mirror on a single wall.
Design
The two outer doors are plain panels crossed by thin staggered groove lines, a decorative strip detail that gives the front some texture without fuss. Between them, the twin mirrors meet in the middle to give a wide reflection, enough to see a full outfit and to bounce light back into the room. Slim silver bar handles run down the doors and across each drawer. The layout is symmetrical, so it sits neatly on a wall centred on the bed or a window.
Four finishes
White Matt keeps a large piece of furniture from dominating the room. Graphite Matt is a deep charcoal, almost black, for a bold, contemporary bedroom. Oak Sonoma is a pale honey oak effect with dark groove lines, warm and Scandinavian in feel. Oak Wellington is a grey-washed rustic oak effect with knots and cracks in the grain, the best choice for a farmhouse, cabin or industrial look.
Storage inside
The two mirrored doors open onto a central hanging section with a rail sitting above the three drawers, the right height for shirts, blouses, jackets and folded trousers. Behind each outer door is a full-height column of about five shelves, so each person can have their own side for jumpers, jeans, gym kit, bedding or storage boxes. The drawers take underwear, socks and accessories, which frees up a separate chest of drawers.
Size and fit
It is 196cm wide, 58cm deep and 200cm high. Allow about 50cm of clear floor in front for the doors, and measure the whole wall including skirting and radiators before ordering. The diagonal is about 208cm, so a ceiling of at least 2.1m lets you stand it upright after building it on its back. At about 174kg it needs two adults to assemble and must be fixed to the wall.
Looking after it
Laminated board is tough and easy to keep clean. Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it straight away; avoid abrasive pads and solvents. Spray glass cleaner onto a cloth, not onto the mirrors, so it does not creep behind the edges. Spread heavy items across the shelves rather than loading one, and re-check the hinge adjustment after a few weeks of use.
