It is a straightforward hinged design: two plain outer doors, a mirrored door in the centre and a stack of three drawers beneath the mirror that you can open without opening any door.

Design

Each outer door is crossed by thin, staggered groove lines, a decorative strip detail that breaks up the flat panels and gives the front a subtle panelled rhythm. The centre door carries a tall mirror, roughly head-to-knee for most adults, so you can check an outfit without needing a separate cheval or wall mirror. Slim silver bar handles sit on the doors and on each drawer. It is a clean, unfussy look that works in a contemporary bedroom and does not date.

Four finishes

White Matt is the brightest option and keeps a small room feeling open. Graphite Matt is a deep charcoal that reads almost black, which looks sharp against pale walls or in a dark, moody scheme. Oak Sonoma is a light honey oak effect with dark groove lines, a warm Scandinavian look. Oak Wellington is a grey-washed rustic oak effect with visible knots and cracks in the grain, the most characterful of the four and a good match for farmhouse or industrial bedrooms.

Storage inside

Open the left door and the mirrored door together and you reach a hanging rail running across two thirds of the width, with a long top shelf above it for bags and spare bedding. The three drawers sit beneath the mirror, under the hanging space, so shorter items like shirts and jackets hang above them. Behind the right-hand door is a full-height column of shelves for jumpers, jeans and towels, with space at the bottom for shoes. It is a layout that suits one person’s full wardrobe, or a shared guest room.

Size and fit

It measures 147cm wide, 58cm deep and 200cm high. Allow about 50cm of clear floor in front for the hinged doors to swing, and measure the wall including skirting boards and any radiator. Because it is built on its back and then stood up, the diagonal matters: at about 208cm, a ceiling of 2.1m or more gives you room to lift it upright. It weighs about 132kg, so it is a two-person job.

Looking after it

The carcass and fronts are laminated board, which resists everyday knocks and wipes clean. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry straight away; avoid scouring pads and solvent cleaners. Spray glass cleaner onto a cloth rather than directly onto the mirror so liquid does not seep behind the edge. Do not overload a single shelf, and check the hinges after the first few weeks in case they need a quarter-turn to keep the doors aligned.

It weighs about 132kg once assembled and must be fixed to the wall with the anti-tip fitting supplied.
