Description

The Apley Two Drawer Bedside is an upholstered bedside cabinet made in the same house fabric range as our upholstered bed frames and divan sets. That matters more than it sounds: buying a bedside separately usually gets you a near match rather than an exact one, and the difference shows under a lamp.

Two full-width drawers take the books, chargers and reading glasses that collect beside a bed. Choose the fabric from the list below to match your bed.

Before you order

Measure the gap between your bed and the wall, and check the height of your mattress. A bedside that sits well below the mattress line is awkward to reach from lying down, and one that sits above it looks wrong — most people are happiest when the top of the cabinet is level with, or slightly below, the top of the mattress. If you are matching this to an existing Apley bed, order the same fabric name; our house fabrics run across the range, so the match will be exact rather than close.

Looking after it

Upholstered furniture lives longer if you vacuum it rather than wipe it — a soft brush attachment lifts dust out of the weave before it works its way in. Deal with spills by blotting straight away rather than rubbing, which spreads the mark and flattens the pile. Keep it out of direct sunlight where you can; strong sun fades fabric unevenly, and the side facing the window goes first.

Delivery

We deliver to mainland England and Wales. We do not currently deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands or the Scottish islands. Delivery is arranged directly with you once your order is placed.
